Reduced Room Rate:
Our special rate at the Pointe South
Mountain Resort is $179 per night for a standard suite.
We
have a limited number of rooms at this rate and they sell out quickly.
Please call the toll free reservation number at 877-800-4888 to make
your reservations today. Please be sure to mention you are with the
Help Desk Professionals Conference when making your reservation to
ensure you receive our special room rate.
Note: Room rates are quoted exclusive of applicable state and local
taxes (which are currently 12.07%) or applicable service, or hotel
specific fees (resort service fee of $12. per suite per night &
housekeeping services ($2. per suite per night) in effect at the Hotel
at the time of the meeting.
Government Rooms:
We have made arrangements with
Holiday Inn Express hotel
about two miles from Pointe South Mountain Resort for a reduced rate of
$103 plus tax for our Government attendees. We only have ten rooms
held for Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday. We have five rooms held on
Saturday night. A shuttle service will be provided to and from the
hotels during the start and end of the main conference.
You MUST call into the
hotel directly to reserve the rooms at the following phone number –
480-831-9800. If you call the central number or try to register online,
you will not get the special rate. You MUST mention the Help Desk
Professionals Conference Room Block to get this rate.
Transportation to and from the Pointe South Mountain Resort and the Sky
Harbor Airport:
The Pointe South Mountain Resort is located 5 miles or 15 minutes away
from the Sky Harbor Airport. The hotel recommends that you use Execucar
service located right in the baggage claim area at the airport for
transportation to the hotel. You simply pick up the Execucar phone
located in the baggage claim area and a car will be sent to get you and
bring you to the hotel. The one way flat rate for this service is $20
and may be split with a group. If you prefer to take a cab, the fare is
roughly $20 one way.
Please note that taxi cabs are not regulated in Phoenix and you should
discuss the fare with your cab driver prior to getting in the cab. Super
Shuttle is also available for $14 per person one way. This is not a
direct route and the shuttle may stop at other hotels before arriving at
the Point South Mountain. If you are renting a car at the airport, you
can find
driving directions online. For your
convenience, there is also an Enterprise Rental Car office close by to
the hotel that will make arrangements to pick up and drop off your
rental car at the hotel.
Amenities & Guest Services:
The
Pointe South Mountain resort is committed to offering a healthy
environment during your stay and is proud to announce that all of their
suites are now smoke-free. As a guest of the Pointe South Mountain
resort, you will enjoy the luxury and comfort of the all-suite
accommodations. The suites provide you a relaxing retreat after a long
day of learning and include bedrooms with private balcony / patio area,
separate living rooms with queen sofa bed and an oversized work area
with high-speed Internet access.

Your
resort fee will include: unlimited local phone calls, unlimited access
for credit card, toll free and collect calls, high speed internet
access, one daily in suite pot of coffee, the delivery on USA today
newspaper to your suite (Monday-Friday), athletic club admittance (must
be 16 years of age), tennis, volleyball and croquet court time, shuttle
to Arizona Mills Mall, incoming / outgoing faxes and entrance to the
Oasis Water Park – up to 4 people per suite. (Up to 2 additional guests
will be admitted into The Oasis for a fee of $16 per person per night.
Guests must be at least 48” in height to ride water slides)
Meeting Rooms:
Our
primary meeting / general session room will be located in the
Estrella/Hopi Room across from the West Registration Desk. Our break-out
sessions will be held in the Diablo, Copper and Bisbee rooms also across
from the West Registration Desk. The West Registration desk will be our
central point for the entire conference. Stop by, ask questions – we are
here to make your experience a positive and memorable one.
Our
lunches and breakfasts will be located in the beautiful outdoor west
terrace located adjacent to the West Registration Desk. It is very
important for us to have all of our meeting space in close vicinity to
one another. It helps to form a sense of HDPC community year after year
by increasing our networking opportunities and affording more time
together in the halls between sessions. It is also much easier on the
feet!

The

Golf - Get into the "swing" of things at Phantom Horse Golf Club,
Arizona’s premier destination for golf. Resort guests and golf club
members will find the blend of traditional links with some of the best

stunning island green finishing hole.

Hiking and Biking - At over 16,000 acres, South Mountain Preserve
often is referred to as the largest municipal park in the country. It
boasts more than 60 miles of trails for hiking, horseback riding and
mountain biking for all skill levels.
Mountain bikes are available for a fee through Phantom Horse Athletic
Club. Or, if hiking is your passion, drop by the Athletic Club to pick
